PReport AvailableThe main objective of this UNICEF project was to provide multi-sector response to the drought affected population in Karamoja sub-region regions of Uganda. UNICEF and its partners undertook activities geared towards improving access to nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene, health, and child protection services to ensure delivery of time-critical lifesaving humanitarian assistance to prevent an increase of drought-induced humanitarian needs to children, families and communities affected by drought in Uganda through a needs-based approach.
